This will be the first official story contributed to My Different World. If you are among the first visitors to this web site, you may be reading it. If you have arrived some time later, you may never see this story. In any case, I just wanted to congratulate my partner and myself for beginning the project. We're both excited about it. If you have, indeed, arrived here near the date you see stamped on this story, you might not see much to the site. That's because we're just building it. But that's OK. Somebody has to be first. If what we have in mind here fits you, please come back. We expect to have a strong and vibrant community in no time at all.

If you are a Guest, you will not see much content. Tell us what you want. Take the poll on the right side of your screen.

At the bottom of the page, there is a Contact link. Email us with your thoughts or send a suggestion (see the menu item at the top of the screen). The easiest way is to write a story like this one. Just click the Post a Story button on the menu to get a Submit a Story screen.

Either way, let us hear from you. This is your chance. Our technology allows us to do anything you can think of.

We see it this way: If the residents of My Different World build it themselves, it will be a much more comfortable community in which to spend time.
